In my yoga classes we share

Yoga means whole.
A union of mind, body, emotions and spirit by the active practice
of balancing activity, relaxation and meditation.
My classes are different. They are about developing each individuals self awareness of how
we move and that every day things we do in life can cause pain. (neck, back or knee pain)
My particular skill has developed from my training as a teacher of the Alexander Technique.
This 3 full time years of training has enhanced my 20 years experience of teaching yoga.
My work is very much hands on and so small classes of a maximum of 8 enables me to work with each individual's
specific and differing needs.
The classes are educational and I use yoga postures with specific activities to help individuals explore
ways to relax and move easily. The activities and postures might initially seem un-strenuous, they are in fact very
effective. I achieve maximum benefit from the yoga posture without strain and causing pain.
I adjust the activities to suit the needs of the individual in each class as a way to establish
self management and self healing.
