The British Medical Journal has released a video based on their findings during a
comparative study on the effectiveness of the Alexander Technique and related
methods for dealing with back pain. It found the Alexander Technique to be most
effective method for refief.
This trail is one of the few major studies to show significant long term benefits for
patients with chronic non-specific low-back pain.
Non-specific back pain accounts for up to five million working days per year. It is one
of the most common conditions managed in primary care, a common cause of
disability and affects general well-being and quality of life. *
